Our Story

Charlotte Boat Rentals was founded in 2022 and is owned by Richard Rudolph who has lived on Lake Norman his entire life. Richard has been boating since he can remember and loves to help others create fun memories on the water with their friends and family.

CBR has three well-kept pontoons that are located off of Highway 16 in Charlotte within a mile of the Mountain Island Lake Boat Landing and within 14 minutes of downtown Charlotte. We also offer weekly rentals on Lake Norman as well.
